Distal Lateral Femur Locking Plate System

The distal lateral femur locking plate is low profile and conforms well to the patient’s bone. The edges are smooth and rounded to prevent friction between the plate and surrounding tendons or muscles.

Screw type:

• 1) Cortical screw Ø4.5 mm
• 2) Locking screw Ø5.0 mm

Materials:

• Titanium grade 23 Ti-6Al-4V-ELI

Precaution:

- The distal lateral femur locking plate and screw are designed to be used with its instruments.

- The distal lateral femur locking plate must not be used with screws other than those manufactured by Digital Orthopedic Solutions Co., Ltd.

- The distal lateral femur locking plate is designed to be used in a specific position, that is distal femur.

Contraindications:

- Active infection

- Patients with limited blood supply

- Patients with insufficient quality or quantity of bone e.g. Osteoporosis

- Lacks musculocutaneous cover

- Severely non-compliant patients with mental or neurological conditions who are unwilling or incapable of following postoperative care instructions.

- Malignant primary or metastatic tumors

- Patients with metal allergies and foreign body sensitivity.
